Are you among the people who have never heard of Hijama (wet or dry cupping)? Then we would be happy to explain what that means.
During that treatment, we suck toxins from your body through the skin. This process improves blood circulation and makes your body recover faster.
Then book your appointment today!
The main difference between dry and wet cupping is that in the latter detoxification treatment we make superficial cuts in your skin before we draw that vacuum.
This allows your body to remove waste even more quickly. As a result, your blood becomes more oxygenated and new, healthy cells are produced more quickly.
In addition to removing toxins, Hijama gives you a relaxed feeling and encourages faster recovery in coronavirus patients. That’s because of the energy boost your immune system gets from it. The treatment is painless, although you may experience some sensitivity when the cups are vacuum-drawn. The stronger the vacuum, the more effective the treatment. We can of course reduce the suction strength in consultation.
At Aquila Wellness & Spa, we comply with all health inspection regulations. We are also included in the BIG (Beroepen in de Individuele Gezondheidszorg [Professions in Individual Healthcare]) register and we dutifully comply with the hygiene guidelines of the National Centre for Hygiene and Safety (LCHV, Landelijk Centrum Hygiëne en Veiligheid) and the Municipal Health Service (GGD, gemeentelijke gezondheidsdienst).
We will discuss your symptoms in detail beforehand and draw up a treatment plan (possibly in consultation with your doctor). If you would like to know more about our working method, feel free to contact us at any time.
